Is there any way to speed up the NTP tests? My run is taking longer than 300 seconds. 229 of that is NTP.

Check to see if your NTP servers are reachable.

so I would disable the built-in NTP test and replace it with this ntpd test?
Looking through the code, it appears to handle these in a blocking mode as well, waiting for a reply before going to the next one.
I would think a non-blocking design would be faster. Not sure this would fix the problem, or just hide it by putting it in an external script that could take more than 5 minutes.
