I have packaged Hobbit for Mandriva, it is currently available in cooker contrib, and the 2006.0 development tree (ie devel/2006.0 on mirrors). Users can install it with 'urpmi hobbit-client' or 'urpmi hobbit'.
I started with the distributed spec file, but had to make a number of changes to make it comply with packaging policies.
Packaging files are available in CVS, eg http://cvs.mandriva.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/contrib-SPECS/hobbit/
It might be worthwhile removing the trailing slash in the alias definition in the distributed apache config files (http://cvs.mandriva.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/contrib-SPECS/hobbit/hobbit-4.1.2...)
The SRPM also builds on RHEL4, when using compatibility macros (see http://qa.mandriva.com/twiki/bin/view/Main/BackPorting), we are using the resulting packages in production.

That's terrific!
Will you make it available for Mandriva Enterprise as well?
