I know that you can set the downtime parameter in the hosts file, which will mark the test disabled and cancel alerts for that particular window. However, I have downtime that will occur on, say, second Tuesday of the month. I currently do this through crontab with BigBrother and can do so with Xymon, I just think it's unfortunate that it will not show up on the "info" page for the server. Is there any way to something that will somehow show on that page? It's nice to know the service schedule at a glance, rather than have someone need to hunt through config files to see the information.
Thanks for any pointers!
