filtering system state on main page
Hi there...
Really weird question. I have added a "test systems" page in my bb-hosts file. Is there a way to make sure that the colour/alert from this page doesn't filter down to the main page. Ex. I don't want my main page to be red because of something wrong with the test systems, yet I want to know there is something on the Test Systems page that is indicating red when I glance at it.
Cheers,

Check out the man page under 'XYMON STATUS PROPAGATION OPTIONS': http://www.xymon.com/hobbit/help/manpages/man5/bb-hosts.5.html

I saw this, but I'm looking for something more global for pages/hosts, instead of tests.
Either that, or I do not understand it properly to implement it.

In the host definition, use 'NOPROPRED:* NOPROPYELLOW:* NOPROPPURPLE:*', and this host won't propagate its status to higher pages. This also means that the parent page won't see the status, you'll only see the real status if you look at the page itself.
