how to disable flapping notifications?
How do I disable flapping? Our host sometimes has issues and xymon starts spamming all kinds of flapping messages. I only need alerts if the host is not responding to a certain service and not if it flaps.
I have found: http://www.xymon.com/xymon/help/manpages/man8/xymond.8.html "Track the N latest status-changes for flap-detection. See the * --flap-seconds* option also. To disable flap-checks, set N to zero. Default: 5 " where in the config do I put this?
tia
I have it DURATION>2m

Just edit tasks.cfg where you have the xymond entry add a line like the highlighted one below,
