hobbitd question
My hobbitd stays in yellow state but i am unsure why. I have checked the log files and found nothing out of the ordinary is there anyway. I simulate running the test that reports back for the hobbitd test in debug mode and see what is causing it. Thanks

The "hobbitd" status really only goes yellow when there are any log entries being made. Those will be shown on the hobbitd status page under the "Latest error messages" heading.

Ok I see it now is there anyway to make it ignore this error. Latest errormessages:Ignored PURPLE status update from <ipnumber> for <hostname.test> Thanks

No hosts should ever send a "purple" status - that is generated internally in Xymon, not sent over the wire.
There is no filter that you can apply to the error messages, so the easiest way to stop this is to remove whatever is running on <ipnumber> that generates this bogus status message.
