Hi,
I have just finished uploaded the 4.3.0 release-candidate to Sourceforge. It is available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/xymon/files/Xymon/xymon-4.3.0-RC1.tar.gz/dow... (note that if you go to the "Files" section, it is at the BOTTOM of the page since I didn't create a folder for it).
To the best of my knowledge, this has fixes for all of the bugs that have been reported in beta-3.
I encourage everyone to try it out, and send reports about their success and/or bugs here to the mailinglist. If all goes well, a final release will happen in February.
Regards, Henrik
Hi.
I tried compiling the new version on our server, and got the following error:
make[1]: *** No rule to make target pagestats.o', needed by pagestats.cgi'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/xymon-4.3.0-RC1/web'
make: *** [web-build] Error 2
We currently run beta3. Do you need more of the make output?
/Johan

Looks like pagestats is completely missing from xymon-4.3.0-RC1/web/Makefile. You can get the compile to finish by commenting out pagestats.cgi & pagestats.sh on the PROGRAMS & CGISCRIPTS line in xymon-4.3.0-RC1/web/Makefile.
I just did that and xymon seems to function OK without it. I don't see pagestats.sh in the menu dropdowns either.

Argh! This shouldn't be in there!
Fixed. To avoid problems with Sourceforge mirrors etc. I've deleted the old file, and uploaded the correct one to a 4.3.0-RC1 directory. So the download link is now http://sourceforge.net/projects/xymon/files/Xymon/4.3.0-RC1/xymon-4.3.0-RC1.... MD5 hash is fa700d5b3bc4ef8469789483cfe54660
Sorry about that. Thanks for reporting it so quickly (there were only 4 downloads of the broken file).
Regards, Henrik
