I saw an alert that xymonton was available, but I haven't seen any update to the status. Do we know when xymonton will again be available?

It should be available again. FWIW, I hate the way newer linux ditros spread the pieces of an app across 20 different directories. Makes maintenance oh so much easier :-{. I would have to side with the /usr/local folks here.

Indeed its back online now, however the monitors page returns the following error (apologies if you've been bombarded with this):

*Fatal error*: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4875 bytes) in */var/www/trantor/xymonton/inc/parser/lexer.php* on line *140*

Well, this was a simple enough fix. Oddly, I had a smaller value with my previous server.
