server-side-processing vs client-side-process hobbit client
I have a huge text file(20M) that need to be monitored for offending keywords. Can I still use server-side-processing hb client ? or I need use client-side-processing hb client ? Will server-side-processing hb client send 20M file to hobbit server ?

You can specify text to ignore and you can specify text that always should be included. The hobbit client also remembers wich lines are already processed and only the last 30 min of the logfile will be processed.
(I'm not sure if the 1MB and 30 min are exact)

The "trigger" keyword in clients-local.cfg may help you.
If the file isn't a log file, I would do a client-side scripts with its configuration on the server.
