I don't know how BBWin works in that regard, but yes, MrBig has a central configuration daemon for this purpose. See here:

I took a look at the webpage for mrbig http://mrbig.365-24.se/, and there it is stated that no one is maintaining the code.
If you still are maintaining it Ulric, do you keep it some where accessible to the public?
