Running external tests for multiple hosts

I have a large number of devices I would like to query via SNMP. I have multiple items per device that I would like graphed. What is the easiest way to go about this. Are there example scripts out there? Should I use bbhostgrep?

Sounds like you should have a look at DevMon: http://devmon.sourceforge.net/
