If I got the code right, and your client reports an "[ifstat]" section in the client message, then - yes, you should have an ifstat.*.rrd file.

If not, let me have a look at your client's tmp/msg.txt file.

On AIX in the ~/client/bin/hobbitclient-aix.sh script, the [ifstat] section is repeated and produces data, but the ifstat.*.rrd files are not created and no column is displayed (same happens on linux 2.4.3-6).
