My problem with the xen-monitor from shire is like follows :
My Maschine it-services01 Dom0 is running the mi-vt.py client-script
with following modify
bbhome = '/usr/lib/hobbit/client' bbtest = 'vt' domain = ',desy,de' hobbit_server = 'it-hobbit.desy.de' test_explanation = 'Virtual Machine Status'
like described on shire ..
but after starting, there are three new entries in the ghostlist
it-services01vt 193.159.66.187 0:07 n1geqmvt 193.159.66.187 0:07 n1gexhvt 193.159.66.187 0:07
and nothing appears on the Page of the Dom0 it-services01 ....
Any idea ?

It seems to be sending in just fine, but it does not know which machine in bb-hosts to associate it to. Try changing your bb-hosts entries to:
group domo 193.159.66.187 it-services01 # CLIENT:it-services01.desy.de
group domu 193.159.66.91 n1gexh # CLIENT:n1gexh.desy.de 193.159.66.88 n1geih # CLIENT:n1geih.desy.de
If I recall correctly I made the script to send in using the full domain (ex. n1gexh,desy,de).

my bb-host entries are :

group domu 193.159.66.91 n1gexh # CLIENT:n1gexh.desy.de 193.159.66.88 n1geih # CLIENT:n1geih.desy.de
-> On my domu's have all there own running hobbit-client, maybe it's interesting for this problem, and the Domu's appear on the page all right with all real informations
No vt-columm appears on the page of it-services01
and on my ghostlist there are still the entries

Ah, I see. There should be a period between the host name and the test name when its sent in, you seem to be missing that so hobbit is thinking the test name is part of the host name.
I'm a bit mystified why you would be losing that period... Give me a bit and I'll take a look at it closer and make sure that's the issue, I have not looked at this particular script in a while.
