I am new to xymon, and i am trying to install it. I am getting errors about the rrd tool. Do anyone has any steps regarding this ??

Do you have the rrdtool software installed on the server you are installing Xymon? Without this software and its libraries, Xymon won't install. Check the install.html in the docs directory created when you exploded the Xymon tar ball.

He emailed me off list. He didn't have the rrd package to compile Xymon.
SOLUTION:
Linux ubuntu 2.6.35-22-generic #33-Ubuntu SMP Sun Sep 19 20:32:27 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
