Hi all,
I have still not sorted out my alerts issues so thought I would ask a few simple questions in the hope of getting more understanding of the way it works.
Are the HOST and PAGE keywords in the alerts.cfg file mutually exclusive or can they be used in combination? In other words can I have:
PAGE=p1 HOST=h1 SERVICE=ssh SCRIPT /opt/xymon/server/ext/restart.sh HOST=* SERVICE=ssh SCRIPT /opt/xymon/server/ext/email_p1.sh PAGE=p2 HOST=* SERVICE=ssh SCRIPT /opt/xymon/server/ext/email_p2.sh
to run a restart script if ssh dies on h1, run the email_p1.sh script if ssh dies on any other server on the page and run email_p2.sh if ssh dies on any server in p2?
