If it's just one client you want to ignore, just set the nobb2 and/or noprop* tags on that client.

Hello Daniel,
The thing is that I only would to avoid specific tests as they are not relevant in a Solaris zone. But I would like to get others like proc.

Hello Daniel,
In which file should I set this nopropred:testname? Would it tell the client not to run the test or is it a hint to tell the server to ignore the info provided by the client?

You would set that in the bb-hosts file (or an include file), and yes, it would tell the server to ignore the test but would still run the test and display it on the web page that the server is on, but it would not propagate a red condition so the page would not show red and the bb2 page would not display it.
Check out the man page for bb-hosts.
If you want the client to skip running a test, setting the ignore in the client config file on that specific server can stop it from running the test.
Check out the man pages on your help menu item on your xymon web page.

Take a look at the client-local and hobbit-client man pages and look at the files in your xymon/client/etc directory on the local machine you're monitoring. The files have documentation in them as well as the man pages. I assume you're talking about unix. If you're using windows, edit the bbwin.cfg file.

Hello,
I have tried that. But unfortunately it did not work for memory.
I guess this is why Dominique Frise suggested to patch the code for memory.
