I wonder if you can assist me on this following error message, I have tried everything updated all the packages and I still cant compile hobbit.

Hmmm .... you wouldn't happen to have the Hobbit source tree in a directory called "/Data/Monitor [something]" with a space in the directory name ?
That's the only explanation I can see for this error. If I'm wrong, please show some more of the output.
