Using the latest firerox, whenever I use the magnifier to zoom into a graph, all I get is this lousy blue screen (see attached png ) I tried with a new
profile, same result. Firefox 3.0.11 doesn't show this behaviour.
Any hints? Bugreport at Mozilla?

It probably is an issue how the new Firefox handles rrd graphs. If you want to be sure you could roll back Firefox. If the older version works than there is an issue with the new version without a doubt. If that is so the case you may need to wait until they patch it.

I've just upgraded FF to 3.5 & am seeing the same issue. Time to roll back then.

FWIW, I don't see the described behaviour, using FF3.5 (On WinXP, 32bit)

Shiretoko (Firefox 3.5b4pre) on Ubuntu 9.04 also has the problem :-(

How bizarre! I've just rechecked the "Help | About..." and it's definitely 3.5b4pre! Maybe they found some problems with this version and reverted to b3?

Henrik,
I've solved this by changing *hobbitgraph.c *adding *opacity:0.5; and **opacity:0; *
fprintf(stdout, " <div id='zoomBox' style='position:absolute; overflow:none; left:0px; top:0px; width:0px; height:0 px; visibility:visible; background:red; filter:alpha(opacity=50); * opacity:0.5;* -moz-opacity:0.5; -khtml-opacity:0.5'></div>\n"); fprintf(stdout, " <div id='zoomSensitiveZone' style='position:absolute; overflow:none; left:0px; top:0px; width:0px ; height:0px; visibility:visible; cursor:crosshair; background:blue; filter:alpha(opacity=0); *opacity:0;* -moz-opacity:0; -khtml-opac ity:0'></div>\n");
Regards,
Mario Panza.

I can confirm this fix on Firefox 3.5 for Linux, Mac OS X, and Safari. Not sure about any other platforms.
I made a quick patch for this in case others on the list want to apply it.
Tom
and this patch works also for the other old firefox-versions ?
cheers, martin

I can verify that it works for FF 3.0.11 on Fedora 10 linux. Haven't tried others yet. I applied the patch this morning and haven't run into any problems yet, but that doesn't mean that there aren't any out there.

Any hints? Bugreport at Mozilla?
Been seeing the same thing here with Opera 9.6x on Linux for a while. I don't use that feature much so I never thought to complain to the Opera people much.. It works fine in my Firefox v3.0.11 si I had been using that if I needed to see the magnifier graphs.
Hope the FF people get on this soon so I can upgrade to ff 3.5. :)
