I just downloaded the latest stable Xymon release (4.3.21 and configured and maked it but when I click on the items I just get a file to download or a blank screen with a No Such Host message. I looked in the server/cgi-bin directory and there are a load of files ending in .sh but they are binaries not scripts and all of an identical size. I checked in the same directory of a previous version and they are small shell scripts. Can anyone help?
Regards,
Nick Pettefar
Did you start it with the init script?
No such host, is this from a web browser?

With the "server/xymon.sh start" command, as the xymon user.
Yes, from the xymon web page.

Are you using a name that doesn't have an A record? Try the IP. Also try localhost from the server with lynx.
