If your xymon server can receive email, you can set up an alias that pipes through a shell script, then send status messages to it. I've done something like that, but I don't have an example on hand.

Does anyone have a working example of a script which pulls emails from a specified account and uses that data to set the status of a given test? I have seen people talk about doing that and am looking for a little guidance in setting that up.
