Hello All,
Should the inode test display on the clients automagically as it does on the xymon server display or am I missing a help page?
Thanks,
Jim

Hmm.. what do you mean by "display on the clients", exactly? If you mean the client report (the raw text data), it should be in there since that's what's being parsed to make the xymon server display.
It should be reported on all Linux clients, if you're running 4.3.10.

ahhhhh, I thought so but I don't see an inode column on other than the xymon server itself. Must be something I'm doing incorrectly. I am tarring up the client dir on the xymon server and using that on the client servers. Is this unacceptable to do with Xymon?
Thanks,
Jim

Did you update all the clients? If you did, then it should be displayed automatically.
Thanks, Larry Barber

I upgraded 3 of my client servers to test but they aren't showing the inode column. I am going to do a fresh client build on one of the servers and see if that makes a difference. I know... why would it... but....
