Hi all

I seem to recall a recent post about BBWin not working against 2008R2 but I can't find said post. Do I recall this correctly? Does BBWin work correctly with 2008R2?

Works for me. I suggest commenting out the msgs bbwin.cfg line however, since it doesn't interface well to 2008 event logs.:

I'm also pretty dubious about the [ifstats] section, but haven't looked at disabling that.

There is a powershell Xymon client in development - sitting in SVN under sandbox. Currently does core client report in similar manner to BBWin, no support yet for external scripts, etc and requires hand install as a service. Use at own risk, no support, but feedback gratefully accepted.

Also, could someone point me at a HOWTO to setup role based views.
