Hi all
We have a requirement to graph the number of ports open on one of our servers. I do notice an attempted graph at the bottom of the ports test page, but there is no appropriate rrd file.
Can anybody clue me in on
- What it is supposed to graph
- How I make it work
Thanks Vernon

Define the portcheck you want in hobbit-clients.cfg, like PORT state=ESTABLISHED min=0 TRACK=OpenPorts
The important thing is the "TRACK" definition.

Of course, I have actually used that before, I just forgot about it.
I wanted to simply count all my connections to see if I am reaching the kernel defined maximum overnight. Don't think this will for me.
I have coded a quick script and graph to keep tabs on this.
Thanks Vernon
