I had a similar problem with the menu when I upgraded. The html for bb.html was showing this:

<!-- Styles for the menu bar --> <link rel="stylesheet" href="$BBMDNUSKIN/menu.css">

I had to go into hobbitserver.cfg and add the line:

BBMENUSKIN="$BBSERVERWWWURL/menu"
