Need to compile for aix 6.1 please
Can someone provide steps to compile for aixd 6.1 ? I am always getting stuck when trying to get the rrdtool to compile correctly.

For the client yoy don't need rrdtool. And for the server, why not run it on a linux box? Otherwise it can be a hassle to find all the needed stuff.

hmm, good idea, never got past the server compile so did not try the aix client compile, easier I hope ?

I said that it's best to put the server on a linux box so you only need to compile the client for AIX.
I also have some precompiled clients for AIX on http://www.docum.org/drupal/category/docs/hobbit These clients also work on newer AIX versions. AIX 5 and higher are binary compatible.
