I think I temperally fixed this by adding "tr -d '-' in the runclient.sh script so it parses . Question is the client thatson the hobbit server suppose to start when you start the main server? or do you need to do a runclient.sh start?

As far as i understand - Yes. The client is started by "hobbitlaunch" module. Check the [hobbitclient] section.
Have you got the server running on your hpux machines?

Yes the server runs, but I AM using hp-ux 11.0 not 11.11 I Had the client running but now it nor working and when its was working I think is was crashing. the hobbitd_client alternate between puple and red. I think it work run one then crash then get relaunched.

Ok I got the client working again. Seem to be differnece from runing it with hobbit server start up or running stand alone! Maybe to to mods I made! Aslo at one time I had a hobbit_client dot . it was going between red an purple, I did a "drop" on this test so to better track what was going on . IT has not reappeared.
