i assumed that setting REPEAT=0 would be "NOREPEAT"... well, i was wrong ;)
how can i setup a alarm not to be repeated ? (i could just set a high a high number i guess..)

I think you learned that the hard way, yes ...

There is no NOREPEAT setting, so using REPEAT=1000d would probably work.
