Hi Geoff,
there seems to be a small path bug in "cgi-secure/adminscripts_view_graph.sh".
I had to alter the lines 72-75 by adding "/hobbit/" to make the path look like: "../hobbit/calendar/calendar_stripped.js". The same thing in lines 121 and 137 to enable the script to find "img.gif". Now everything seems to work just fine.
Thanks Stefan for your nice set of scripts!

Hi, yes thx for hint in next version it will work. I upload it tomorrow (v0.2.1)
thx Stefan
Hi, Stefan !
Great work !
Unfortunatley the adminscripts_edit_files.sh doesn't work for me ... :-(
My Hobbit-Server is 4.2 and runs under Scientific Linux SL release 4.3 (RHEL4)
I can look at the config-files, but if i changed something and want to submit it ...
it needs a long time and nothing was changed ...
No question for "Are you shure you wan't edit" or something else ...
Does anybody else has this failure or is my own pain ?
I insert a "set -x" into the script, but the messages in httpd-log-file are very big and i don't want send them here...
Any Hints are welcome !
Cheers, Martin

Hello, I`ve a running Hobbit Server 4.2.0 on Fedora Core 5. First I used the Hobbit to check Windows and Linux machines, but now I installed the client on OS-X machines, too. Since then, I got problems to get the logs of the OS-X machines.
So I found the patches witch include some errors about OS-X clients. How do I have to use this patches? Can I patch my running Hobbit server, or do I have to reinstall or update? The manual I have just say to patch the hobbit-4.2.0 folder, but that`s not my installation folder like /usr/lib/hobbit/ !?

You have to patch your hobbit in the install directory, and the reinstall the binaries to the running directory.

I installed Hobbit server with the rpm files and if I want to use the source, it cannot find the rrdTool. Or are there some rpm include the patches?
I know how to use the source files, but I`m afraid to see an error in the end.

I searched in my system for rrd librrd2-dev, but I got no results. In /usr/share/rrdtool, I found just a font. That`s all
Any ideas?

Okay, I checked the rrdtool rpm, I installed. All the rrd libarys was installed in /usr/lib/ . And the binarys are also installed in /usr/bin/ . So it is correct, but if I add the path of rrd, it says, there it isn`t ?!

I have 3 hobbit servers each on it's own Fedora Core 5 host. These may have been the only packages I installed on top of my OS install. Your OS install may be different depending on what you chose to install or not install.
Regardless perhaps you just need the rrdtool-devel package? Yum install it?
yum install rrdtool
yum install rrdtool-devel
yum install pcre-devel

Hi, Stefan !
my hobbit-server is running with RHEL4 ...
I've tested it for
/etc/bb-hosts /etc/hobbit-alerts.cfg /etc/hobbit-clients.cfg /etc/hobbitgraph.cfg /etc/hobbitlaunch.cfg /etc/hobbitserver.cfg
And everything seems to be ok for me ...
Cheers, Martin

Hi, thx for testing and sorry for your trouble i will fix it, but at the moment i don't know why you get this error. Because on my systems it works fine.
Some Questens: Which system do you use? which files do you changed? Have you reloaded the page after you uploaded it and befor you tested it?
@all: Can someone test it and confirm this bug?
thx for help

Hi
Did a clean copy again and reloaded all the pages, and the thing works now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
