Alerting during downtime window
Hi,
I have an issue where hobbit is sending alerts for hosts during the planned downtime window for the host. We reboot various windows servers during the night and randomly will be paged at 02:00. Has anyone seen this before. It seems to be worst after restarting the hobbit services.
Thanks
Craig Boyce

Could you show us an example of your bb-hosts entry for one of the hosts that suffer from this ? Perhaps combined with the entry from the notifications.log file to get the precise timestamp.
Regards, Henrik
Craig, We've been seeing this for the last few months, but it has usually had some relationship to passing midnight. All alerts past midnight get sent regardless of the downtime. As a side note, this behavior is sporadic and seems to have something to do with our unplanned restarts of the Hobbit daemon (server reboot). We are working to stabalize our Hobbit platform before debugging this further. Let me know what you find.
Best, Brian
