As I can read from the changes file, logfile monitoring is no longer supported nativly in the client. What do others do then for logfile monitoring the B style ?
BR Thomas
Thomas, You can use the bb-msgs.pl script from deadcat. It will allow you to set up generic log checking for all hosts that get sent back as 'msgs'.

OK, a little tricky to configure as it does not use the already configured bb-msgstab file. Anyway I now get the msgs status changing from OK given by the ext script and then it is overwritten by the hobbit client "No client logdata was given". How do I disable the client logs test ?

Pick up the latest snapshot and run hobbitd_client with the --no-clear-msgs option.

Another option is to take the bb-msgs.sh shell script from a BB client and "hobbitize" it. You will need to add the --no-clear-msgs option as Henrik stated below...
One caveat though.. You will (as far as I am aware) still need a BB client license if you go this route....
