When I install hobbit client getting following error
Checking for Large File Support...
ERROR: LFS support check failed for standard file support
How to resolve this error while install hobbit client?. What could be the reason for this error? anyone please help me on this

Solaris, hmm, so I assume you mean solaris 2.0 or greater, or you would have said sunos.
So, let's try the half split method: Is it solaris 2.6?
(what response do you get when you type "uname -a" at the shell prompt?

OK, Solaris 8, there we go.
Do you have the 'largefiles' option enabled on your mounts?
See man 5 mount and man 5 largefile for more info -

Maybe it's and old topic for you, but I am quite new in this list? Do you have any ideas for hobbit failover? Let's say, 2 hobbit Servers, one down, the other still works, monitoring the same group of machines.
