[hobbit] Client for AIX
I sent the same thing on 8/19, and didn't see any response. It is happening on AIX and Tru64 servers...

Try installing the latest Hobbit snapshot on your server. http://www.hswn.dk/beta/
I have installed the latest Hobbit snapshot and am running the AIX client config on an AIX 5.1 system but I am having a problem with the netstat data.
In the larrd-data.log I get the following message : - 2005-08-24 16:11:19 RRD error updating /usr/local/hobbit/data/rrd/tru6707/netstat.rrd from 10.175.4.217: expected 16 data source readings (got 15) from 1124896279:31882533:4760259:0:8141380:16032146:U:U:3145266384:3098051523 :426 6285002:493162550:3214756185:220948442:6077963:339657:..
I count 16 fields there!!
Any ideas?
Thnx
Chris

I'm using the beta as of 05-08-24 and my larrd-data.log shows:
"2005-08-25 10:22:29 RRD error updating /home/hobbit/data/rrd/test/netstat.rrd from 10.45.80.31: expected 16 data source readings (got 15) from 1124958149:33307:14754:0:369198:151399:U:U:3215864498:4166927645:487308:14044332:8875519:6707234:133069:11047:..."
Interesting: If I chop the first parameter of AIXs vmstat-output (see my post from yesterday) and use OSTYPE=linux, it works.
"2005-08-25 10:22:29 RRD error updating /home/hobbit/data/rrd/test/vmstat.rrd from 10.45.80.31: unknown DS name 'mem_avm'"
For network I/O, the rows in, out, retrans show "nan" (Not a Number) in every column.
