Okay, okay. I thought I was getting great at getting my data to graph - maybe not though.
I'm sending data from my mail server to hobbit. The rrd *is* being created and updated. When I click on the 'trends' link that particular graph is not there. However, if (in the url) I type in the service exactly (e.g. http://10.5.0.75/hobbit-cgi/hobbitgraph.sh?host=mail&service=dnsbltrend&grap...)
the graph shows up and is populated. I thought I had to add it to the bb-hosts file: 10.5.102.1 mail # noconn ssh smtp2 pop3 imap TRENDS:*,dnsbltrend
But it still won't show up on its own.
I'm not sure what I'm missing. Any help is appreciated,
Matt

You need to add it to the GRAPHS= section of the hobbitserver.cfg

Trent,
Forgot to mention, I did do that and restarted hobbitserver. I've double-checked and can't see any typos. It's odd (to me at least) because I can call the graph directly within the URL.

Hmmmmm, I dont define my custom graphs in my bb-hosts file, they have always appeared in the TRENDS column by adding them to the appropriate sections of the hobbitserver.cfg file. This is strange. Check case sensitivity is my next guess, make sure your DS entry matches the NCV_ in your hobbitserver.cfg

Yup, values match. I had a similar problem showing the graphs of some of my other custom tests (e.g. fan speed, bonded interfaces, etc). When I added them to the bb-hosts via TRENDS they showed up. Any other ideas? Is there a limit to the number of graphs that will show up on the TRENDS page?
