Hi all,
I solved it by myself. Simply put global variable RRD_DEFAULT_FONT in your hobbitserver.cfg file (i.e. RRD_DEFAULT_FONT="Verdana").

FYI, I had 2 hpux 11.23 (IA) hobbit servers (the hobbit server processes, not the host) today crash this morning. One of the hosts had a core file:

Likely they were receiving data, from the same client host(s) when it occurred

Looks like it ran out of memory - that codepath is triggered when there isn't enough memory to make a copy of a string buffer.

Hey all, I downloaded and installed the Xymon 4.3.0.0 beta2 and it does not display any servers at all. I have checked the bb-hosts file and verified the xymon server itself is listed, and even added another server to the list but it doesn't show anything at all. If I do a "find host" in the administration menu I can find the hosts, but it still does not display anything.
Any ideas?

Is there anything in the log files that Hobbit generates? They are generally in /var/log/hobbit.

Firewall is not running, nor is selinux installed. I'm running openSuse 11.1
I installed per documentation and all seemed to go well.

and what user/group is your Hobbit/Xymon installed as?

Selinux is not installed (unless it's there without my knowledge). The file does not exist in the location you gave me. And, xymon was installed by root, but configured to run as the nordquid user.

When you ran make install it was supposed to create that config file. It didn't. My guess is that nordquid can't write to /bigdisk/*

To check if SELinux is running, look in /etc/selinux/config. What OS are you running?

When you ran make install it was supposed to create that config file. It didn't. My guess is that nordquid can't write to /bigdisk/*

When you ran make install it was supposed to create that config file. It didn't. My guess is that nordquid can't write to /bigdisk/*

Is there anything in the log files that Hobbit generates? They are generally in /var/log/hobbit.

When you ran make install it was supposed to create that config file. It didn't. My guess is that nordquid can't write to /bigdisk/*

I have checked the bb-hosts file and verified the xymon server itself is listed, and even added another server to the list but it doesn't show anything at all. If I do a "find host" in the administration menu I can find the hosts, but it still does not display anything.
Any ideas?
