There is a way to do this -- just make sure that your bbdisplay server does not define itself as the BBNET server.

On bbdisplay server , I disabled the BBNET section on hobbitlaunch.cfg . bbdisplay still does basic network connectivity tests and doenst` show disk/cpu/memory info forward to it by bbproxy server.
