The hobbitd executable is available: http://gthiesfeld.homelinux.org/download/hobbitd
I have 6 hosts.
Thanks,

OK, it's past midnight here and I need to get some sleep, but since it seems that your setup triggers this easily I'll start with your dump tomorrow and see what I can find.
If you could make the hobbitd executable available for download also, that would be nice.
How many hosts do you have, approximately ?
Henrik

I've restarted it again, and my hosts are back, but things still aren't right. Certain checks are still showing purple on the main page and green when you drill down. I have my bbdisplay set to rebuild every 20 seconds, but it is rebuilding approximately every 5 or 6 minutes.
Thanks,
Gordon

Henrik,
I already killed everything to do with hobbit once, to see if it would bring stuff back. It didn't. I don't know if that lost the data you're looking for.
I did a dump. You can get it here:

Did I corrupt my bb-hosts file somehow?
I dont think so. This happens if the Hobbit daemon stops answering requests - then bbgen thinks nothing has been logged at all, and displays an empty page.
I haven't been able to trigger it myself, but maybe some playing around with renaming hosts will do it.
If it happens again, I would be very interested to get a core-dump of the hobbitd process. So could you please try killing hobbitd with a "kill -ABRT <hobbitd-PID>" ? That should cause it to core-dump.
