only to alert after 3 failed tries
Hi,
Is there a way to have Xymon to only alert after the same test failed on a particular node 3 times within a time period? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Define the alert such that it is only sent out after three times the test interval. Take a look at the section on defining alerts in the documentation. It should be pretty clear.

In your alerts.cfg, give it a DURATION>N, where N is 3 x test frequency. That's the length of time the alert condition must be sustained before the messages start going out.
