I have an Intel SLES9 system running the Hobbit 4.2 client with the all-in-one patch applied. A filesystem went above the yellow threshhold and although I changed hobbit-clients.cfg to increase the yellow value, it still appears yellow and says that the threshhold is 90 (the default).
Here is the setting in hobbit-clients.cfg:
HOST=goveritas DISK /remote 95 98
Here is the data on the disk screen for goveritas:
yellow /remote (93% used) has reached the WARNING level (90%)
Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Available Capacity Mounted on /dev/sda2 79687996 44199612 35488384 56% / /dev/sda1 104376 42896 61480 42% /boot /dev/sda5 6297208 40768 6256440 1% /tmp /dev/sda6 3148568 832460 2316108 27% /var /dev/sda7 587181884 101079652 486102232 18% /dbbackup /dev/sda8 33446268 30819128 2627140 93% /remote
What is also peculiar is that the 'client data' link does not appear above the graph:

Do disk tests that are not explicitly coded still use the default?

Seems so. I do not know about C-programming, but in client_config.c I find 90 and 95 ;)

(I have however learnt Algol, Cobol, APL, PL/1, Assembler, Databus.......)

OK, thanks, I'll give that a try.

Nope, from the process list:

It's just very odd, because unless you're running hobbitd with the undocumented "--no-clientlog" option, then a disk status must have the "Client data available" link.
Could you try running (as the hobbit user)
$ bbcmd hobbitd_client --test 2006-10-26 22:53:28 Using default environment file /usr/lib/hobbit/server/etc/hobbitserver.cfg Hostname (.=end, ?=dump, !=reload) []: MYHOSTNAME Hosttype []: Test (cpu, mem, disk, proc, log, port): disk Filesystem: /home Yellow at 90%, red at 95%
to see what the configuration ends up being ?
Also, does the command
bb 127.0.0.1 "clientlog MYHOSTNAME"
return any data ?
Henrik
