A very interesting thing about my current positition is that our uptime is only considered for about 14 hours a day. In order to make Xymon aware of this I have added a line to ~/server/etc/hosts.cfg that looks like this:
.default. #REPORTTIME=W:0700:2100
Unless I'm making a mistake here, this should inscruct Xymon to only consider uptime from 7:00am to 8:00pm, however, this does not seem to be the case when looking at the availability report. Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks, Jamison Maxwell
For clarification, I am under the impression that this is taken into account for availablity report, not for alerting.
Thanks, Jamison Maxwell
