thanks for your answer. The problem is that this systems never get to purple. I've set the NOCONN option (I don't have a permanent connection to this server). I get all green messages. But if the server is down I receive only clear messages (white symbol). What can I do to get purple messages from dead systems with the NOCONN- option?

Obviously you can't do any alerting on clear, just stating that for the record.

You can set notification should it go purple. Read the /hobbit/help/hobbit-alerts.html help page on your hobbit install.

When you ask how to get purple messages, are you referring to making the test appear purple on the www pages or perform an alert once it is purple?
