You'll have to look up in your OS docs what "signal 25" is. Try running "kill -l" (dash-L) to see if that lists the known signals.

On some systems, signal 25 is "file size limit exceeded"; if that is the case on your system it could be the rrd-status.log file that has grown too big. Try removing that logfile and see if it helps.
