Is it possible to use the "--ignorecolumns" option when generating pagesets?...such as to get rid of the "msgs" column?? If so, where exactly would I specify that option?
in etc/hobbitlaunch.cfg under bbdisplay section
Yes, I saw the info in the man pages and read it before posting but that will eliminate the "msgs" column for ALL of the systems. I only want to eliminate it in the "Alternate Pagesets" sections that I am generating. Is this an option?
Each pageset is generated by a separate invocation of bbgen. So just add the --ignorecolumns for the pagesets you want it to be on, and leave it out for the others.
Yes, I think I tried that but I must have made some mistake. As you previously told me, I made a new bbdisplay section in hobbitlaunch.cfg like this:
[bbdisplay-tier0]
ENVFILE /home/hobbit/server/etc/hobbitserver.cfg
NEEDS hobbitd
GROUP generators
CMD $BBHOME/ext/ps0.sh --ignorecolumns=msgs
LOGFILE $BBSERVERLOGS/bb-display.log
INTERVAL 5m
And then made a file to build the pageset:
BBWEB="/hobbit/ps0" $BBHOME/hobbit/bin/bbgen
--pageset=ps0 --ignorecolumns=msgs
$BBHOME/www/ps0/
I tried using the --ignorecolumns=msgs directive in either and then both sections but it dodn't work. Where did I make my mistake?
