[Xymon] Xymon and ITIL

Hi,

Just been asked by an architect whether it is valid to say that Xymon is aligned with ITIL operations? Has anyone else been asked anything similar? I dont know enough about ITIL to even begin to know how to answer this, can anyone help? Thanks
