To be honest I find that by simply putting your words down to an audience that doesn't look at you with a blank stare helps tremendously.

The “ol” graph isn’t one of the defaults included with Xymon. Apparently, even though the graph works fine on its own, it can’t be included in TRENDS unless you also add it to GRAPHS in
hobbitserver.cfg.That's one of my favorite processes. Though I'm a non-smoker, I bet it is analogous to waiting 20 mins for a bus that is late, lighting a cigarette, and having it come immediately thereafter.
