Hi,
Thanks for the replies. I have been spending time on going through web interfaces for various mailing lists, rather than using email. My fault for not looking at the footer of the Xymon messages I still have.
I sent an email to 'xymon-announce-leave@xymon.com<mailto:'xymon-announce-leave@xymon.com>'. No bounce message back, so that's good.
I have tried using the URL below. However, I didn't note the password I had set, so requested it to be reset. Unfortunately this gives me a reply with:
"However, we do not have any record of a user with email john.horne@plymouth.ac.uk<mailto:john.horne@plymouth.ac.uk> in our database."
There are only two other (old) email addresses it might have used, 'j.horne' and 'jhorne'. I tried the password reset with those, and got the same thing back.
John.

Hi,
Torsten already pointed at the "unsubscribe" notice. The web interface for managing your subscription is available from the xymon.com website (menu item "Xymon Project" -> "Mailing list") which links to https://mailman.xymon.com/postorius/lists/xymon.xymon.com/

Hi,
I am going to be retiring in a few months, and since work has dropped off (for
me) I have been trying to do the nice thing of unsubscribing from various
mailing lists.
For Xymon lists I have two questions:
- I saw Henrik's message from early July about moving the mailing lists to a
new server. No problem with that, and I resubscribed as requested. However, I
have just noticed at the bottom of the 'Welcome to the "Xymon" mailing list'
message I received, it says:
"If you have forgotten your password you will need to reset it via the web UI."
What web UI? No URL was included. I don't want to unsubscribe from this list
yet, but, as said, will do in a few months.
- From 2012 I have a similar 'Welcome to the ...' message, but for the 'xymon-
announce' mailing list. (I tend to keep any of these welcome messages for
mailing lists I have joined. Typically just so that I know how to unsubscribe
from them.) Does this announcement list still exist? This list I want to
unsubscribe from (if it exists).
Thanks,
John.
