[Xymon] removing <!-- [flags:ordAstLe] > from custom email script

Have you tried using FORMAT=SMS on alerts.cfg?

Or try this in your script:

NEWMSG=echo "$BBALPHAMSG" | grep -v '<!--[^>]*>'
