Hi Shaun, I just tried to install XYmon 4.2.3 on a Solaris 10 zone and ran into the same problem. do you have gcc installed? Just check with find / -name gcc -type f -ls and it should display something like that:

If thats the case you just have to add /usr/sfw/bin (or whatever path is displayed there) to your PATH environment variable. Otherwise you have to install gcc.
