Hi,
On every change I do in hosts.cfg, I need to restart xymon service.
This cause me lot of work, cause all my test (blue) came back in red... and send alerts.
How long are you waiting after making changes to hosts.cfg? It may take a couple of minutes, especially if you are adding new hosts.
