In the example name tag you have the name= outside of the quotes. I think the quotes have to include the name= part. Not sure if your actual config is that way or not.
IE, instead of NAME:"NAMEIWANT" it should be "NAME: NAMEIWANT"

I don't know if it will fix the problem, but it might provide a suitable alternative to use the "COMMENT:" or "DESCR:" tags.

I'm using xymon 4.3.17 and has a issue with NAME tag in hosts.cfg. When defining one host multiple times in the hosts.cfg I want to give them different names. I use the NAME tag, but this doesn't change the display name on the webpage. Does anyone has familiar problem? Or is there a solution for this?
It looks like this in the hosts.cfg:
group-except info ORG 10.1.1.1 hostnameorg
group-only info ALIAS 0.0.0.0 hostnameorg # noping NAME:"NAMEIWANT"
On the webpage it still displaying "hostnameorg" for my second entry.
