Don't get me wrong, I too love xymon and heavily use devmon (which I forgot to mention), but I was looking for something to track MAC and ARP tables with some good historical info and thought this list might be a good place to start.
I have a hacked up version of Tobi's cammer.pl that I used for that. Supporting SNMP version 3 was a royal pain because Cisco broke the bridge-mib horribly in snmp version 3, so most of my hacking is making the v3 stuff work, plus stashing the results in a database.
I haven't tried devmon, precisely because it doesn't support snmpv3 (and mrtg does).

We are extremely happy monitoring 109 network devices (and growing)in on average 24 secs via devmon. And Buchan is great supporting the product!

We've been using Xymon for a few years and love it. Its our main open source tool for monitoring, but I was wondering what others are using in addition to Xymon for monitoring/alerting network equipment ?
We also use:
- Cacti
- Mrtg
- Weathermap
